Laughing Cactus Press (http://laughingcactuspress.com/) is based in West Texas and our logo pays respects to this region; however, books for this imprint need not have a western flavor and western-themed books have no inside track for selection. Our criteria are excellent writing and work that appeals to our admittedly subjective tastes. We have no "market research department," so we choose projects that we think our friends and family will want to buy.
