Focus on the Family: Praying for Our Country and Leaders

The article should focus on how parents can help their children pray for their country and leaders as the Bible commands us to do. This should be one simple, unique idea that you have tried or thought of. The ideas should be geared toward one of the following age groups: 0-3, 4-7 or 8-12. Write in a come-alongside tone, not teaching or preaching. The piece needs to be directed at parents of children, not at children themselves. Focus on helping parents guide their children through the importance of calling on God to work in and through their country's government and leaders.

Word Count: 100-250 words
Rights: First nonexclusive rights
Payment: $50, on acceptance
Due date: September 15, 2016
Audience: Parents of children in the following age groups: 0-3, 4-7 or 8-12
Byline: Yes

Acceptance or Rejection: The Focus on the Family editors appreciate your submission. If your article was not accepted by 9/30/16, it was not chosen for publication. We hope to work with you on a different article at a later time.

Submit to: Parenting.Articles@fotf.org with "Attn: Suzanne—praying for leaders" in the subject line.
