On Wednesday, May 27, 2009, an estimated 100,000 older adults across America will participate in the 16th annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day (NSHFD), the nation's largest annual health and fitness event for seniors. Every
fall, NSHFD sponsors a theme contest to select a slogan for the next year's event. Adults age 50 and older are eligible
to submit a contest entry. The winning entrant will receive a $250 cash prize, and the winning theme will appear on
2009 National Senior Health & Fitness Day materials. The theme should be a short phrase or sentence that focuses
attention on the importance and fun of regular physical activity for older adults. For example, the winning slogan for 2008 was "Fitness...A Lifetime Investment!"
