The purpose of the National Writers Assn. Novel Contest is to encourage the development of creative skills, recognize and reward outstanding ability in the area of novel writing. Any genre or category of novel manuscript may be entered. All entries must be postmarked by April 1. Only unpublished works may be submitted. All manuscripts must be typed, double-spaced, in the English language. Maximum length is 100,000 words. Entry fee is $35

1st Prize - $500 and possible representation
2nd Prize - $250
3rd Prize -- $150
4th through 10th places will receive a book of the winner's choice.
Honorable Mentions receive a certificate.
