Thriving Family: Funny Summer Stories About Kids

Thriving Family (a Focus on the Family magazine) is looking for a few more funny stories about your kids for their May issue.

Theme:
Summer or vacation stories. What is something really funny your child said or did that related to summer or a vacation (maybe even summer vacation)?  
Word Count: 50 to 75 words.
Article type: True-life story, written in first person
Rights: First nonexclusive rights
Payment: $25 on acceptance
Date Due: 12/19/11
Byline: On our Parents Like Us page, we give the author’s first name only. We also give the state where they live.
Directions: Include your name and contact information (including mailing address and phone number) in the email with your humor story.
Acceptance or Rejection: The Thriving Family editors appreciate your funny anecdote. If it was not accepted by December 30, 2011, it was not chosen for publication. We hope to work with you on a different article at a later time.
