TulipTree Genre Issue

TulipTree Genre Issue

TulipTree started with a literary journal, and we are so excited that it's coming back for another run. There will be three issues a year instead of four, each one featuring the winners of three new contests:

Fall/Winter: Genre issue - For this issue we are looking for great stories to curl up with next to a cozy fire or space heater. It is open to all fiction genres—mystery, crime, romance, science fiction, fantasy, noir, westerns, and everything in between (except extreme gore or violence).

Send us great stories we can escape in, that entertain, and that alternately (or simultaneously) puzzle, titillate, and scare us!

Deadline: November 15 / Release: December 21
Grand prize for each contest: $1,000. Word Limit - 10,000 words. Entry fee - $20
Contributors for each issue will be paid a minimum of $50; payments will increase depending on the contest turnout. Additionally, all contributors receive a free copy of the issue in which they appear.
