Focus on the Family Magazine: Making Do
During difficult economic times, people throughout the centuries have learned to make do with what they have. Sometimes, they’ve even come up with a new idea that they continued doing even after times of hardship. What is one way you have figured out how to “make do” with what you have and have come up with a new way of doing things? We are looking for hands-on, practical ideas that you or someone you know have done and that other parents can try to do. In these first-person articles, you should also include a very light faith element, such as thanking God for the idea. This is not the place to tell people what they should do (“you should do this” or “do that.”) Instead, these articles should be written in first person and tell what you did and how you did it. At this time, this call for submissions is only for North American authors.
