Last Leaves Magazine: Ancestors

Theme for Issue 4: Ancestors

We want you to interpret this theme as creatively as you can. Who and where do you come from? Who or where does your poetry come from? Tell us about the origins of your own story or of your writing. Who inspires you? Who supports you? Who came before to pave a path for your poetry? If you are prone to writing poetry “under the influence” of the greats, now is the time to submit those poems! We are hoping for work that tells us about your culture, your family, your traditions, your history. And of course, we are looking to be pleasantly surprised by any creative interpretations of the theme that you want to throw our way.

Submit 3-5 poems. Deadline: January 31, 2022.
